The secondary school consists of Classes IX & X

aiswarya-2

Middle School serves as a foundation for High School, where students collaborate closely with teachers to identify and enhance their strengths while addressing their weaknesses.

The primary objective during the Middle School years is to establish a consistent study routine, cultivate good habits, and focus on the overall development of the child’s attitude. The Middle School follows the CBSE curriculum and the guidelines set by NCERT.

The Secondary Section (Std. IX and X) marks a critical phase in a student’s educational journey, where they build on their foundation and prepare for the challenges ahead. At Aiswarya Public School Kalakkode, we strive to provide a well-rounded education that fosters intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for lifelong learning.

In our Secondary section (Classes IX – X), our primary focus is on fostering academic excellence, particularly for our Class X students. We recognize the significance of these two years as they form the bedrock for their core subjects.

With a comprehensive approach, we coach and support our students throughout the academic year, ensuring they achieve their optimal performance during the CBSE Board Examination in Class X. Additionally, these crucial years set the foundation for the academic streams they will pursue in their Senior Secondary years.

The school adheres to the CBSE curriculum, with students utilizing NCERT textbooks. Evaluation is based on a comprehensive pattern of formative and summative assessments. Alongside academics, life skills and values are also assessed to ensure well-rounded development.

  • For Classes IX and X, additional support is provided through special/extra classes conducted after school hours. Innovative and interactive workshops address issues relevant to adolescence, while career counseling is integrated as a vital component of student development.
  • Students are actively encouraged to participate in a diverse range of inter-house and inter-school competitions, fostering engagement in both cultural and sporting activities.

Timings: Students of Classes I to IV begin their day at 9.30 a.m.
